World-renown chain restaurant Din Tai Fung opened its largest Southeast Asian branch in Bangkok this June, with over 7,660 square feet of floor space and seating for as many as 190 customers. The branch is also the first ever in Thailand. Din Tai Fung has a history of over four decades long, has received a Michelin star and was named by the New York Times as one of the ten best restaurants in the world. Hollywood stars such as Cameron Diaz and Asian superstars such as Jay Zhou count Din Tai Fung as one of their favourite hangouts. Din Tai Fung chains can be found in Singapore, Japan, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, South Korea, Australia, Malaysia as well as the USA.
