Taking over the former premises of Ministry of Sound, ZIRCA is Singapore's first mega dance and show club concept. It's the latest gem to enliven The Cannery's entertainment hub, one that promises to change the way you party. Zirca's live entertainment includes a multi-sensorial experience where clubbers are treated to cirque du soleil-esque performers doing gravity-defying stunts while pulsating to the rhythm of club beats. This revolutionary club holds 20,000 sq ft of space that's decent for 2,000 revellers. Opened on 27 November 2008, its glittering, Gotham city-style interiors promises surprises for everyone. But its star attraction is Thunder - a troupe of six sizzling, muscular male performers who are set to enthrall female audiences with their great sense of humour, solo performances and interactivity. Exclusive to Zirca, this one-time only performance runs from 14 to 21 February exclusively at Zirca. Zirca holds 13 performance areas in total, including a LED screen that opens up to a main platform/staging. There are VIP areas in the main platform and its most unique feature is the square overhead pool hanging above the dance floor for performances. The mega club's proud cast includes a entourage of aerialists, musicians and dancers hailing from as far as Peru, Spain, Australia, Canada, United States, United Kingdom and even Mexico. There are four local DJs and 1 foreign DJ to keep the music pumping.
