Opulent. That's the word to describe Taste Paradise restaurant, located on the fourth floor of the swanky ION Orchard. From its posh interior of rich warm colour to its custom-made furniture and porcelain tableware, Taste Paradise provides diners with an elegant Chinese imperial court dining experience and features Singapore's very first motorised Lazy Susan.

The menu boasts over 220 items, one of which is the delightfully indulgent steamed Shanghai pork dumpling with foie gras - a hot favourite with many. The flavour of the stock is nicely accentuated by the divine taste of foie gras. Other signature dishes include the crispy fried deboned lamb ribs served with an appetising homemade vinaigrette, and the classic green shark's fin in supreme broth accompanied with crispy spring roll served in Japanese stone pot. Made from flour and gelatine, this friendly alternative to real shark's fin might not provide the same crunchy texture, but the rich, flavourful broth makes this dish an absolute must-try.
