The layered suckling pig with foie gras is a signature dish not to be missed. It's sliced so thinly that it almost melts in your mouth. The other house specialty is the Buddha Jumps Over The Wall. For this dish, the ingredients are brewed for several hours so that the stock is rich in flavour.
While the fried rice is a common and nondescript item in most restaurants, Shang Palace's version is anything but. Soft, moist and delicious, fragranced rice is used together with eggs and shark's fin soup. Other highlights in the menu include the baked abalone tart, steamed scallop and radish knotted with string beans as well as braised lobster, crab or prawn Macau style with mantou.
Dessert lovers must try the glutinous strawberry, mango and cream dumplings, and the cream of avocado with sago ice cream.
