Celebrated Michelin Star Chef Santi Santamaria will be in town to conduct an exclusive, personalised, one-day cooking session at the kitchen of his highly acclaimed restaurant, SANTI (recently awarded "Best New Restaurant" by Singapore Tatler Best Restaurant Guide 2011). Participants can look forward to an hour-long cooking class on 13 February showcasing three traditional Catalan favourites, including the Catalan Fish Stew and Oyster Escabeche. After that, guests will be served aperitifs at Santi's Tapas Bar followed by a sumptuous 4-course meal with wine pairing. This special Sunday event dubbed "Santi's Catalan Journey" is priced at S$495++. The restaurant will also be open to the public for lunch ($195++ menu featuring a lovely variety of Catalan delights).
Meanwhile, SANTI has a special Valentine's Day menu that will be officially launched by the chef himself on 14 February. The 11-course menu (S$385++) includes signature dishes such as warm lobster salad with oscietra caviar and burrata; and Iberic Pork Rack with roasted quince and petit pois. The set menu also includes a free glass of Rosé Champagne for guests to mark this romantic day.
