Its former address at Palais Renaissance draws the stylish, so it is only expected that when Ion Orchard opened, the restaurant known for its sticky toffee pudding as much as its knack for attracting tai tais would move to the third-level atrium at the new mall. New items on the menu include hearty soups such as the blue swimmer crab and corn chowder and big salads to share such as beetroot salad with ricotta and chevre. A favourite is the fragrant cappellini aglio olio, which boasts a generous portion of Sakura ebi, making the dish extremely moreish. Desserts that are worthy a try include the impossibly rich chocolate nemesis and granny’s apple, which is spiced apple and cinnamon cake with cream cheese.
