Celebrate the end of the winter
season with delectable, elegant compositions of white asparagus from
Beelitz, Germany in dishes that serve to accent and celebrate this delicate
spring ingredient. Whether these plates are to be enjoyed between friends, as a
couple, or amongst family members, Les Amis has created their menu to serve any

Known for its mild and non-bitter taste, accompanying
components of each course seek to complement this unique flavor, not overpower
it. Six solid and tempting recipes include a ciabatta wrapped crispy white
asparagus, and a white asparagus risotto paired with lettuce and confit egg
yolk (aged 7 years). Additionally, a family style experience, labeled ‘The
Family Affair,' of this season's asparagus may be arranged, featuring the
dynamic flavors and textures of Joselito Iberico ham, potatoes, poached eggs,
spinach, and mushrooms. Servings will be done by table and presented in the
center, recreating the European cultural tradition of feasting where families
gather around a white asparagus spread with condiments served communal style.

| Gattopardo's Charity Birthday Celebrations
Indulge in Gattopardo's Sicilian Festa with
Chef Lino Sauro's finest dishes at this special dinner on 22 May to celebrate
the restaurant's second birthday. What's more, you'll be able to indulge for a
good cause with 50 per cent of each ticket donated to Club Rainbow Singapore. There's
also an exhibition of art made by children in Club Rainbow, plus an auction, a
magician, a lucky draw and giveaways happening that night.
Tickets are priced at $188++, with half of
the proceeds going to Club Rainbow. The Sicilian Festa will be held on 22 May,

| WGS Celebration Dinner at Majestic Restaurant
To celebrate their win for Asian
Restaurant of the Year (Singapore), Chef Yong is presenting a special dinner.
For the week of 14 - 18 May, Majestic
Restaurant is presenting a special nine-course celebration dinner to
commemorate its World Gourmet Summit win of Asian Restaurant of the Year
(Singapore).
The nine-course feast includes
several of Chef Yong's innovative dishes such as raw fish Chinese style; foie
gras broth with salmon dumplings; crispy duck fillet coated with yam paste;
braised lobster infused bean curd topped with caviar; refreshing pink guava
sorbet; baked beef short rib glazed with honey sauce; doubled-boiled top-shell
consommé with peach gum and conpoy; stewed noodles with sakura ebi and chef's
secret dressing. Finish the night with child soya milk pudding with sweet corn.
The WGS Celebratory dinner is
priced at $99 per person for a minimum of two people, and includes a
complimentary glass of Sparkling Rose, Pink Elephant, Alsace, France.

| White Asparagus at Gordon Grill
Celebrate the arrival of the
tastier side of spring with this annual treat of white asparagus at Gordon
Grill this May. Diners will have the privileged opportunity to savor these fine
selections of produce from Beelitz, a region in Germany best known for its
quality white asparagus. To honor the delicate nature of this ivory asparagus,
cooking techniques will seek to highlight its purity of flavor and creamy
finish, using simple processes to prevent overworking.
With an ambience clothed in cream
and white chocolate shades, guests have a perfect setting to slowly pace
through these special plates. Executive Chef Gan Swee Lai will offer eight
delectable creations that serve to complement or highlight this special
ingredient. Engage in light yet unique aromatic compositions of layered flavors
consisting of white asparagus soup with morels and bacon, slow-cooked hen egg
with white asparagus velouté, or a salad of pickled white asparagus, grilled
pork belly and langoustine. Additionally, diners have the option to have their
white asparagus blanched or sautéed in butter, with portions of a half dozen or
a dozen.

| Springtime Indulgences at Saint Pierre
Saint Pierre welcomes
spring with a new menu, creatively dreamed up by Chef de Cuisine, Leandros
Stagogiannis. Enticing in both flavors and presentation, Chef Leandros'
inaugural menu seeks to showcase the finest seasonal ingredients.
Expect dishes to showcase
ingredients from the robust to the more novel and refined, where starters include
Saint Pierre's signature pan-fried foie gras with caramelized green apples and
old port sauce, or a white onion risotto with roasted Arabica coffee beans and
24-month aged Parmesan cheese air. Vegetarian alternatives also serve to
highlight the vegetables and colors of spring, comprised of bamboo shoot, lotus
root, sweet potato, burdock root, shishito, kabocha, momotaro tomato and banana
flower.
Main courses include a
delectable selection of seafood and meat, including the much celebrated
cabillaud oven-baked miso marinated black cod with quinoa, nori puree, braised
dragon fruit flower, pickled daikon and piquillos sauce. New additions such as
the agneau Moroccan spice roasted lamp rump tajine style with saffron potatoes,
cumin carrots, fresh pea puree, and mint oil split lamb jus will satisfy more
omnivorous palates.
Top off your evening with
desserts that echo something comfortingly familiar yet introduce some
tantalizing spins. Warm chocolate ganache with imperial soy sauce, parsnip snow
and hazelnut-coriander soil, or fresh strawberries with chocolate crumble, pink
peppercorn spiced strawberry jelly and celery sorbet will make diners want to
save some room for that sweet treat.
Alongside a-la-carte
options, more indecisive or hungrier diners can indulge in a signature 6-course
Classic Menu or a 5-course Demi-Degustation Menu, or go the extra gastronomic
mile with 9-course Degustation Menu. Wine pairings are also an option. Saint
Pierre's new vision can also be enjoyed with a daily three or four-course set
lunch.
