Halia Restaurant

Set in the midst of the Ginger Garden of the Singapore Botanic Gardens, the Halia restaurant has been built with the utmost consideration to the “uniqueness” of its environment. Nestled among tall palm trees and surrounded by the vibrant colours of ginger flowers, the restaurant sits in a spot that is without doubt one of the loveliest in Singapore. Diners can dine in Halia’s air-conditioned dining room while alfresco-loving individuals can sit at the sheltered elevated wooden deck and dine under ceiling fans that keep the space cool. But Halia gets enigmatic at night, where dinner becomes a special treat for lovebirds or even a gathering of special friends.

Whether you’re savouring a lazy brunch on weekends or tucking into an a la carte dinner, the menu at Halia is diverse and intriguing, complemented by discerning ingredients and stellar presentation. Creative gourmet dishes include Muesli with Fresh Fruits and Wild Mountain Honey or a Truffle-scented Egg White Scramble with Sturgeon Caviar, Hokkaido Scallops and Foie Gras Torchon Pate on Brioche.

Lunch is served from 12 noon from Monday to Friday, featuring a variety of soups, salads, sandwiches, pastas, main courses and desserts. Must-tries are Shrimp Satay Salad with pomelo and ginger flower dressing and Halia’s Kurobuta Char Siew & Wanton Capellini.  High-tea aficionados can savour a traditional English Tea Service and enjoy buttery scone with ginger-perfumed fresh cream and home-style apricot and ginger jam, miniature cakes, open-faced sandwiches and flaky puff pastry. Select from a range of premium teas, herbal and floral infusions, our signature Halia Infusion (served chilled or hot) or freshly brewed coffee. Traditional English Tea is served from Monday to Friday, 3pm to 5pm, and Saturday 3.30pm to 5pm (except public holidays).
