The award-winning Garibaldi Italian Restaurant & Bar has been given a whole new coat of chic with the installation of red wallpaper and designer Foscarini's Caboche lamps. Located in the vibrant Bugis area, the new addition of an elegant modern Italian bar is the ideal place to unwind after work.
The Garibar offers a delicious array of signature cocktails, including the basil caipirinha, balsamic mojito, umeshu martini and Limoncelljito, a mojito-style limoncello. Enjoy these creative cocktails while grazing on delectable Italian snacks such as bruschetta, prosciutto and Buffalo mozzarella from their Stuzzichini Al Bar menu. If you prefer a nice glass of wine, you will be delighted to hear that the award-winning wine cellar still boasts up to 6000 bottles of wines from more than 500 labels which are among the best in Italy and around the world.
Along with the refurbishments of the restaurant interior, the kitchen is also serving up a new selection of exquisite Italian fare. Executive Chef Roberto Galetti revamps the menu with new dishes, including the branzino (raw Mediterranean sea bass thin sliced "carpaccio" with orange and red mullet roe), midollo di bue (braised veal bone marrow "Piedmontese style"), tagliolini neri (black tagliolini with fresh Australian spanner crab, homemade semi-dried tomatoes), and piccione (pan fried French free range pigeon with celery roots and caramelized figs).
Those with a sweet tooth will be abundantly satisfied by the indulgent assortment of sugary delights on the dolci al carrello, an enticing trolley filled with homemade cakes. Baked fresh everyday by the restaurant's pastry arm, Sweets Garibaldi, it is the perfect way to end a meal.
