Claypot Fun is a new restaurant located at Playground@Big Splash and features Cantonese-style claypot rice dishes. Most local claypot rice dishes here use recipes created by Malaysian and Singaporean hawkers, but at Claypot Fun, it's all done in traditional Cantonese style - no dark sauce is used. Instead, salted fish, marinated meats, condiments and a small amount of pork are used for flavouring. Diners can also add a dash of the homemade light soy sauce over the rice and mix it in. One of the most popular dishes on the menu is the claypot rice with preserved Chinese sausages and meats. This dish contains cured pork belly, cured duck, lap cheong (Chinese sausage) and goose liver sausage with Chinese wine. The claypot rice dishes are priced at $10.80 and above.
