Borgata Trattoria Osteria

What is a Hybrid Italian Restobar? Well, Borgata Trattoria Osteria is set to address this new dining concept. In fact, it’s a brand new, homegrown concept created by LifeBrandz (the company famous for kickstarting Ministry of Sound). Situated beside Clarke Quay river, the dining experience becomes memorable. You can look out to the city lights that dot the river or simply watch the world go by as you tuck into hearty and homely Italian fare. Borgata is Singapore first-of-its-kind Italian restobar serving up a full, hearty Italian menu in a rustic and cheery casual dining/bar setting, complete with the Italian touch. It has ample and well spaced-out seating and emanates a casual, comfortable vibe. The menu is helmed by true-blue Italian chef Andre, who is well known in Singapore’s former Borgo restaurant for his signature pizzas and pasta with comprehensive selection of 40 Italian wines and cocktails in a restaurant setting. Hot and cold appetisers are its highlights and these include the Antipasto Misto – a medley of cured Italian meats and grilled vegetables and the unctuous Scamorza Con Porcini, which is a baked smoked cheese served with porcini mushrooms. In fact, Borgata offers over 20 authentic Italian appetisers, and another highlight is Manzo All ‘Insalata which is sliced roast to beef served with rocket salad and truffle oil dressing). Down it with cocktail and Italian wines, it makes for a great start to a bona fide Italian dinner. Of course, their pizzas and pastas are made fresh everyday. The restaurant offers an extensive menu of up to 25 varieties of pizza and up to 15 types of pasta to sate the appetites of gourmands and foodies everywhere. A must-try is the Pizza Borgata where you’ll find generous portions of ham, bell peppers and cheeses sprinkled on the thin crust creation. Don’t forget to look out for daily dessert specials and homemade sausages and gnocchi for a refreshing change at every visit. Whether for a romantic dinner date or a casual dining experience with your well-loved friends, an experience at Borgata promises you to come back for more. Those with a sweet tooth can expect to be surprised and delighted with the Italian desserts that change on a daily basis. With Borgata promising to serve up the best pizzas and pasta in town at prices that won’t blow your wallet, you can be sure the river side will be in a new state of flurry as bar goers make a date to revive their longstanding Italian love affair with this fusion creation. For reservations please call 6305 6723 or visit Borgata at Block C, #01-02, The Cannery, Clarke Quay.
