Tower Club is delighted to welcome Frank Kilian as Atlantic Dining Room's new executive chef. Well known for his creative take on modern Mediterranean cuisine, Kilian is poised to take the restaurant’s cuisine and menu to a whole new gastronomic level where diners can indulge in his new creations. Prior to this, Kilian was the head chef at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel before joining the Club. He has a wealth of experience in modern Mediterranean and Italian cuisine cultivated over 16 years. From the age of 18, Kilian worked in the kitchens of Michelin – star restaurants in Europe, including Die Ulrichshoehe, Becher Restaurant, Waldhorn Restaurant and Vintage Restaurant. In 2002, he was appointed sous chef at London’s award-winning Michelin star restaurant Zafferano. After showcasing his talents in Europe, he ventured to Sydney, Australia. He started at one-hat restaurant 4 in Hand as sous chef before progressing to become the senior sous chef at three-hat restaurant, The Pier. Over time, he developed his personal cooking style emphasising freshness, simplicity and top quality ingredients with a creative twist. Together with his passion for fine cuisine, Kilian demonstrates great artistry and professionalism and takes pride in his creations. Be impressed with this rising star of Singapore’s dining scene! Opened in January 1997, the Tower Club Singapore is a subsidiary of City Developments Limited and has been established as the nation’s premier business club. Headed by a distinguished Board of Governors from the top echelons of the business community, it is situated on the 62nd to 64th penthouse floors of the award-winning Republic Plaza building, in the hub of the business district. The Club brings together members, including dignitaries and numerous high-fliers, who fashion and direct the future of their corporations, industries and countries. The Club also hosts a variety of member activities from sports and leisure to parties and business conferences. With its central location and the finest in facilities and services, it is recognised as ‘the’ setting for business and social entertainment. Atlantic Dining Room promises a breath of fresh air as it interprets modern Mediterranean cuisine with a new twist under the deft hands of Kilian. The restaurant’s décor epitomises sensuality and luxury. As the Club’s foremost event hall, golden accents are highlighted throughout the main dining hall, from the plush carpets to the backdrop of the walls and ceiling. The restaurant affords 100 persons for lunch or dinner and can take up to 120 for a standing cocktail reception.
