Nestled along the trendy gastronomic belt along Ann Siang Hill and Club Street, Korner boasts a menu of delicious international and Asian comfort in a welcoming and cosy environment. The latest project by Grace International, an international hospitality group behind Singapore's first luxury boutique hotel, The Scarlet, the 80-seater restaurant exudes a casual dining vibe in the day, featuring a lush landscaped sidewalk seating option. As night falls, it transforms into a hip chill-out joint, with a bar spinning a playlist of eclectic lounge and house beats in the evening.
Abiding by their philosophy of "fun dining over fine dining," Korner's menu is dotted with playful twists with fusion cuisine such as chilli crab sliders (mini burgers), pizza with chicken curry, pasta with minced pork, and a luscious laksa clam chowder with truffle oil.
Those seeking more traditional flavours will enjoy classical comfort fare such as fish and chips, bacon and cheese burgers, pastas, sandwiches, tortilla wraps, and salads. The more adventurous must try the escargot pie, which combines the nostalgic charm of the classic French ingredient with the coziness of an English pie.
End the meal with decadent desserts such as the triple chocolate cheesecake, the gooey fondant au chocolate, and the toothsome pear tart. Complement the sweets with a cup of specially concocted coffee, or skip over to the bar for some after-dinner drinks. The bar list features a wide list of signature cocktails, including the popular mojito, as well as New World wines and beers. If you are looking for bar snacks, menu items such as truffle fries and oriental chicken wings are perfect for pairing with your favourite tipple.
