Zong delivers unique Chinese dishes but still mounts itself on classic cuisine that is recognisable and of solid quality. Expect efficient service for food that is guaranteed to comfort the palate amidst a contemporary backdrop of no-frills plating and a clean white setting. Zong is highly suitable for family or friendly gatherings to share meals and to enjoy good company.
Give in to the usual Roast Combination Platter, boasting a myriad of meats with jellyfish and century egg, but appreciate the juicy tenderness of its suckling pig, which is a Zong signature. Make sure to have a pot of the green tea to pair this with. For the your main course, be delightfully contented with the Chicken in Salted Egg Yolk, its most famous dish to date. The lingering salted-egg taste as the chicken is consumed complements its pan-fried crispiness. For a healthier alternative, consider the Steamed Milkfish with Garlic. Enjoy its wholesome freshness topped with generous garlic portions with fish that is caught daily. Complete your mains with seafood rice and finish off with the Mango Sago Cream, its fullness and texture are heavenly.

I've been coming to this restaurant for about 3 years now, it's one of the restaurants in the city which (in my opinion) has remained consistent. For a while, the menu items didn't change but I have noticed recently that they have started putting new things on the menu, hopefully this trend will continue I am always looking for different twists on the classic Chinese fare and I'm happy to say that this establishment delivers. I also frequently do take away and thank god that they deliver already. Also I am very happy to eat here because of their NO MSG policy. I don't think that food needs to be laden with flavor enhancers so one can enjoy it.
I am hoping that this place will remain consistent in years to come. Just a quick note to those who haven't tried this place and are planning to do so, don't try to eat alone the portions are quite big and I suggest that you come in a group so you can try a few different things.
Pros: Good Food, Good Service, No Frills Dining, Easy on the pocket, Great for Groups
Cons: Could have a better wine selection, something could be done with the noise level.

I really enjoyed the personal interpretations of Chinese cuisine served as as what one used to elsewhere in similar Manila establishments. The attention to detail and the simple but arousing taste palates are a winning combination. No fuss meals are a winner (at the Fort establishment too). Very affordable; the type of place you can bring both your family and your friends. A modern offering to typical Chinese restaurants in Manila, this is a very welcome addition to the restaurant scene. The proprietor deserves plus points for vitalising the resto scene in this category with his winning menu and team.
Pros: The service is exemplary (professional and courteous), the interiors are bright and clean, and the winner goes to the food: true Chinese comfort food served in refreshig surroundings. good value for money.
Cons: If you can think of one please twitter me.
