What’s the difference between Greek yogurt and regular Yogurt?
Greek yogurt is strained more times than regular yogurt, leaving it with a thicker and creamier consistency. Greek yogurt does not curdle when heated and can therefore be used for cooking.
Both kinds are good sources of calcium. However, regular yogurt has about three times more calcium than Greek yogurt.
Greek yogurt has almost double the protein of regular yogurt, which makes it more effective in staving off hunger. It also has fewer carbohydrates than regular yogurt.
As for calories, unflavoured and unsweetened versions of both yogurts have the same calorie count per serving.
