The first dish, a personal favourite, combines an unusual taste with an interesting texture. The tofu is soft and freshly made without the aftertaste that's often present in commercial varieties. The fish is equally fresh. One way which includes the head and bones is deep-fried; the other, the flesh is lightly tossed with vegetables. The soups, like the Winter Melon and Scallops, are perfectly cooked and flavourful, though a little salty. A new dish, Prawns in Tomato, is delicious and beautifully plated, but the serving size is more appropriate for degustation than as a main entree. The taste is as zesty as its novel look.
