Beancurd is reborn to higher taste values by Hai Shin Lou's chef, who prepares it painstakingly from scratch. Soft, silky and bursting with flavour, it's the star ingredient in the on demand vegetable dish, Assorted Mushrooms with Homemade Beancurd and the popular Deep-fried Taro appetiser. Other savoury dishes that make it to the top list are Peppercorn Squid with tangy dip, Bamboo Pith with Seafood and Steamed Blue-Dotted Fish.
