Fabulous Fetes for Father’s Day

On Father's Day, dads and their families can have unlimited barbecue specialties, seafood spread and free-flowing beverages for lunch or dinner at Market Cafe for only 1,950 pesos net per person.
 
Li Li offers a special Father's Day Yum Cha where guests can indulge on dim sum, desserts, delicacies in the roast and wok stations and unlimited beverages from 11:30am to 3:00pm for only 1,850 pesos net.
 
Diners can also have the chef de cuisine Andy Chan's lunch and dinner Lauriat menu of roast duck, suckling pig sushi, pumpkin seafood soup and sliced chicken in XO sauce for only 1,988 pesos net per person.
 
The Fireplace family-style lunch menu offers lamb skewers, grilled salmon, Certified Angus Beef sliders, grilled scallop pasta, risotto, hot chocolate soup and more, for 2,500 pesos net per person including of free-flowing beverages. For dinner, a savoury four-course set menu of oysters, white asparagus, grilled Certified Angus Beef with pan-fried foie gras and dark rum espresso truffles await the diner for 4,000 pesos net per person.

On Father's Day, Intercontinental Manila will host A Sandwich Making with Daddy Contest, and a Breville Professional Power Grill 8800 GR worth 13,000 pesos is up for grabs. Dad and a relative can become an eligible team upon availment of any of the following: the Daddy's Day Out Room Package, Café Jeepney's Father's Day lunch or dinner buffet or Prince Albert Rotisserie's special set dinner menu.
 
Teams have an hour to prepare two kinds of sandwiches using supplied ingredients and will be judged on taste, presentation, creativity and the use of the secret ingredient.
 
The Daddy's Day-Out Room Package of 6,000++ pesos consists of an overnight stay in a Deluxe Room with buffet breakfast for two at Café Jeepney, plus a bag of goodies from Cover Up, Dentiste and Tiny Buds. The package will be offered from June 15 to 17, 2012, to local residents and expatriates with valid ACR.
 
Dads will enjoy free lunch or dinner buffet at Café Jeepney when accompanied by 3 adults enjoying the buffet at regular price on June 15 to 17. The Prince Albert Father's Day set dinner menu on June 16 is priced at 2,450++ pesos per person.

The whole family can feast on Asian and western cuisines at Circles Event Café for Father's Day weekend. Fathers are offered a complimentary glass of wine with the dinner buffet priced at 1,950+++ pesos. Patrons can also try Circles Event Café's Drink of the Month, Apple Champagne, available during lunch and dinner at 270+++ pesos.
 
The Makati Shangri-La restaurants are also featuring "My Dad and Me, Good Times with Dad" Photo Contest on Father's Day until June 19, 2012, diners may submit their photos in a special bonding moment with their fathers. Those who qualify will receive a gift certificate for Circles Event Café lunch or dinner buffet. The grand winner will receive a two-night weekend stay for a family of four with buffet breakfast.
 
Inagiku also offers its bestselling buffet including the aburi sushi, assorted sashimi, hot or cold udon noodles and teppanyaki on Father's Day, June 17, at 1,980+++ pesos for lunch and 2,400+++ pesos for dinner.
 
Red restaurant serves up a specially made four-course menu at 2,200+++ pesos per person, featuring a starter course of confit pork belly, breaded hen's egg, petit nois and raspberry vinaigrette, followed by the second course of seared turbot, fennel stew, pearl onion, Champagne uni sauce and caviar. Main course is grilled sirloin, truffle potato tart, braised leek and mustard jus. Dessert is peanut butter pudding, chocolate ganache, or miso ice cream.
 
Shang Palace will carry a selection of four set menus for lunch and dinner on June 16 and 17. Set Menu A features roast duck combination, double-boiled fried fish maw soup, sautéed Lapu-Lapu fillet and asparagus with X.O. sauce, steamed sea prawns with Chinese herb, Cantonese-style stewed spare ribs, fried rice with diced chicken and salted fish, sweet dim sum pastries, and hot sweetened taro cream with sago for 1,188+++ pesos per person. Set Menu B offers chilled prawn salad with fried vegetable taro puff, double-boiled fried fish with maw soup, sautéed prawn balls, wolfberries egg white and asparagus, braised Bailinzhi mushroom with dried scallop and garden green, steamed Lapu-Lapu, Shang Palace roast duck, braised E-fu noodles with seafood and mushroom, sweet dim sum pastries, and chilled sago with diced mango for 1,500+++ pesos per person.
 
Shang Palace's Set Menu C offers crispy roast Peking duck with Chinese pancake, double-boiled cordyceps flowers and conch with fish maw, sautéed scallops and prawn balls with X.O. sauce and asparagus, braised sliced abalone, sea cucumber and garden green in oyster sauce, steamed Lapu-Lapu with onion, roasted chicken in garlic, second way of Peking duck: fried duck in ginger scallion, Singapore-style stir-fried Hong Kong egg noodles, and Chef's dessert for 1,988+++ pesos per person. Set Menu D offers roasted suckling pig combination, Buddha Jumps Over the Wall, Singapore-style deep-fried whole grain cereal king prawn, steamed Lapu-Lapu in light soya sauce, braised sliced abalone, sea cucumber and garden green in oyster sauce, Hainanese chicken, Parma ham with avocado fried rice, topped with Chef's dessert at 3,188+++ pesos per person.
 
Lobby Lounge offers the Father's Day High Tea at 680+++ pesos.
 
Specially designed Father's Day emoti-cakes are available until June 17, 2012, at Sinfully Circles in Circles Event Café, or at Sinfully by Makati Shangri-La in Greenbelt 5.

Dads with a prior booking on any weekend in June who dine at Paseo Uno, Tin Hau or the Tivoli can savour a Roberto Molleman dessert creation.
 
Fathers can have a chance to win ten weekend stays in a raffle, if they feast on fine fares at Paseo Uno or Tin Hau.
 
Paseo Uno's selection includes duck foie gras, homemade pasta, risotto and paella, a variety of Asian dishes, US roast beef and plenty of carving and grill stations selections. The buffet is priced at 1,950+ pesos.
 
Tin Hau offers six lavish set menus prepared by the executive Chinese chef Hann Furn Chen. The menus start at PhP1,188+++ pesos per person.
