Coining its name from the French word bisous (kiss), Bizu is a European-themed restaurant deeply rooted in the Filipino tradition of the beso-beso. It is our way of communicating happiness and affection, exactly what Bizu stands for. The pretty lavender walls, high ceilings, plush couches and colourful accents make it a happy place to share a delicious meal – and each dessert is a star in its own right.
Whoever thought that salads were boring must try the Bizu Truffle Salad, tossed in a combination of mesclun, tarragon, shallots, grilled button mushrooms, asparagus, shaved Parmesan and drizzled with truffle jus dressing and hollandaise. For the mains, a must-try is the slow-cooked Braised Lamb Shank in red wine jus. The fall-off-the-bone meat on a bed of mashed potatoes, served with roasted garlic and vegetables, is succulent and filling. Taking from the all-day breakfast menu is the delicious Eggs Benedict; there’s much to rave about, from the fresh muffin to the perfectly poached eggs. Each dessert has its own story to tell, but Bizu is most known for its macarons de Paris (the kitchen has a section exclusively for freshly baked macarons every day).
