Basix has one of the best buffet menus in town due to its wide selection of cuisines ranging from Japanese and Chinese to Indian. Each cuisine is well represented. For starters, you can choose from several dim sum dishes that are steamed right before you. You can also choose to have the usual sushi offerings of tuna, kani, lapu-lapu and California maki. Move over to the Crustacean section, which has freshly shelled oysters and prawns. For mains there is a selection of curries and roasts that range from beef, lamb, chicken and salmon along with a choice of veggies cooked in different ways and a variety of fried rice. There’s even a taco station! With the copious amounts of food, you must consciously remind yourself to make room for dessert. Numerous pastries and a halo-halo station make for a sweet ending. For those who do not fancy buffets, there’s an à la carte menu with just as many choices to please you.
