Following in the footsteps of his father Jean-Claude Berrouet, Olivier Berrouet is the winemaker at Chateau Petrus in Pomerol. 2009 is his first vintage and our contributing wine producer James Suckling visits the vineyard to sample the 2009 vintage from the barrel. Supposedly combining the "structure and classicism of '05", "the richness of 1989" and "gentleness and softness of 1998", Suckling believes that this wine will definitely be 98 points and above when it makes it into bottle.
