Oliver's has goods imported from all over the world and has excellent cheese, charcuterie, fresh meat and deli counters as well as a hot food area serving takeaway meals. The fresh meat counter has top quality meat including Wagyu beef steaks from Australia and traditional Cumberland sausages from UK. There is also an excellent range of sauces, spices and dressings as well as fresh herbs. Fresh produce is of good quality but considerably more expensive than other stores. There is also a small range of kitchen accessories including Jamie Olivier's range of cooking utensils. The staff are friendly and helpful. Avoid the lunchtime rush during weekdays when it is crammed with office workers.

Ponti Food & Wine Cellar

Established in 1988, Ponti was carries between 800 to 1,200 wines and wine accessories, such as decanters, glasses, openers and wine cellars. It is particularly strong on Bordeaux with many classed growths available including Chateau Leoville Barton, Chateau Lynch Bages and Chateau Palmer. California is also well represented with Dutton, Heitz, Saintsbury and St Francis. Rare Italian, Australian and German producers also feature. The VIP Club offers discounts even on promotional items. Delivery is free for purchases of above $1,000 or of 12 bottles. Ponti conducts wine tastings and other special wine events. Most purchases are eligible to earn Asia Miles.

Rare and Fine Wines

Mr. K.K.Wong, the GM and founder of the company is something of a wine celebrity in Hong Kong and has over 30 years of experience in the business. The excellent selection of wine includes varietals from several famous vineyards such as Louis Latour, Jaboulet,and Hugel. Wines are imported using Remy Fine Wines, who recently closed their retail wine shop in Pacific Place, but still import and wholesale as strongly as ever. Rare and Fine Wines is also the local representatives for Jacquesson Champagne and Saracina wines of California. The range of Bordeaux wines is extensive with many first growths. There are also some prestigious Burgundies from renowned domains including Romanee Conti. There is a good range of Italian wines such as Gaja, Ornellaia, Solaia and Sassicaia. The website is excellent and enrolling on the e-mail list means you will receive special offers and invitations to tastings.

Red Wine Village

Red Wine Village is the retail outlet of Everwise Wine Limited and it has branches in Central and Sha Tin. As an Australian fine wine specialist, over 3,000 Australian wines are available including some sought after vintages and rare varietals. Red Wine Village is the sole distributor of Bannockburn, Bass Philip, Jasper Hill, Mount Langhi Ghiran, Punters Corner, Hungerford Hill, and Yering Station.
