A Shunde Menu at Yat Tung Heen
Many great Cantonese chefs originate from Shunde, a small district in Foshan that is famous for dishes such as steamed seafood and "double-skin milk". To see why, Yat Tung Heen, a Cantonese restaurant with branches in both Wan Chai and Jordon, is featuring a special Shunde menu from now until the end of May. The menu includes dishes such as:
- crispy eel with honey and deep-fried chicken wings with mushroom, celery and carrot
- sautéed prawn with tomato and vegetables
- pan-fried mud carp fish stuffed with preserved sausage
- crispy milk custard bun with deep-fried mashed taro
