Setting
Located on the third floor of the Royal Garden Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui East, the interiors of Sabatini are warm and inviting and the entire restaurant has spacious seating to give diners the perfect amount of privacy. The dimmed lighting and candlelit tables are an ideal spot for a romantic date. Adding to the ambiance is the string quartet and singer that make the experience that much more enjoyable. |

Food
The selection of appetisers is extensive. Start with the beef carpaccio, which is served with wild rucola, and topped with Venetian dressing for a tasty, yet surprisingly light appetiser. Also noteworthy on the menu is the basil pesto and roasted sweet chilli mozzarella burrata, which has a perfect balance of texture and flavour. A highly recommended main is the char-grilled lamb chops with lemon thyme. The juicy yet light lamb is cooked to perfection and the lemon thyme gives it a rich aroma. The dish is presented nicely and tastes even better. Another must-try is the slow-braised veal shank with saffron risotto and gremolata. The tender veal pairs perfectly with the creamy risotto. Whether you have a sweet tooth or not, be sure to save room for dessert. The mouth-watering tangy apple and rhubarb pie served with a side of vanilla ice cream is the perfect way to top off the meal. |

Wine
The impressive wine list is noteworthy at Sabatini. With wines by the glass and a variety of wines from all over the world, there is something for everyone on the wine list. Service
The attentive service is outstanding. Staff are familiar with the food menu and wine list. Water glasses are never left more than half way empty and plates are cleared promptly without any disturbances. Waiters are friendly and give great food and wine suggestions. |

White Asparagus at Sabatini
Starting in April we have been bombarded with special menus and dishes featuring white asparagus, the humble spring vegetable that is at its best from April to June. Among them we especially appreciate the culinary creations at Sabatini, The Royal Garden's Italian restaurant in Tsim Sha Tsui East, which is making a wide use of this natural gem to bring out its sweet and zesty flavour. Recommended dishes on the special white asparagus menu include:
- cream of white asparagus soup with seared Hokkaido scallop
- steamed white asparagus with poached organic egg and black truffle
- risotto with white and green asparagus with parmesan
- fillet of Japanese golden snapper with white asparagus
These dishes are available a la carte during both lunch and dinner until the end of May.

Not up to italian food
service is something that you have to feel and personal,
i tried not to trust it, but did try the lunch and dinner and trust my feeling... i'm sorry to say "disappointed"

Negative reviews are interesting to read, especially for high end places. I note the fact that a place like this can be pricey but if the food is mediocre and the service is bad, I must admit I have an 'Ah, Ha!' moment.
It's only about making sure you are living up to what you are supposed to be selling.
