Setting
On the trendy and bustling side of Soho, Nepal is always busy. Inside, tokens of Nepalese culture decorate the walls - from curved knives (known as kukris) to ethnic arts and crafts depicting mythical creatures and gods- all above the white linen table settings inside this small restaurant.

Food
Soups, dumplings, grilled meats and vegetables, countless curries and even yak cheese, Nepal’s dishes showcase the varied robust spices of this country. Sautéed eggplant - thick cuts of the purple vegetable with a peppery spiced batter on each side - is a welcoming, piping hot starter that warms you up to what’s about to come next. An earthy yellow dhal curry is a soothing, cumin-infused dish, savoured with rice that is scooped out of a golden brass bowl. Nepal’s signature dish - the royal khasi - is a lamb stew engulfed in a thick and lovely almond and coconut cream gravy, with the meat slow cooked for hours to tenderness. Barbecued diced chicken and fried in capsicum, tomatoes and onions and coriander, is a tangy and succulent bite one after the other. Most of the dishes are prepared with spices and ingredients sourced from the high altitude region, and you’ll find this restaurant dishing out generous plates that are easy to wolf down.
