To let diners experience a one-of-a-kind buffet experience, the Sky Terrace on the twentieth floor of the Harbour Plaza Metropolis in Hung Hom will be opened to let the public to admire the wonderful Chinese New Year firework display with a unique buffet dinner.
On that special evening, Sky Terrace will offer a deluxe lobster and abalone barbecue dinner buffet. For the price of HK$1,238 per adult, it will feature an array of freshly grilled seafood, including Boston lobster, fresh abalone, Alaska crab leg, along with other delights such as pan-fried foie gras, assorted seafood, oyster and sashimi platter and bird's nest dessert.
The cold days of winter call for warm drinks. Apart from hot pot and seafood bouillabaisse, hot alcoholic beverages such as hot toddies and mulled wine have long been favourite winter wamers. Sevva atop Prince's Building in Central has created a special hot cocktail to warm up the patrons sitting on their outdoor terrace. Inspired by ancient Chinese recipes, Sevva's new hot winter cocktail combines double-boiled pear and date broth with vodka and the sweet pear liqueur, Poire William.
On the second day of the Chinese New Year, the skies of the Victoria Harbour will showcase a fascinating display of fireworks to celebrate the arrival of a new lunar year. ToTT's, the European restaurant at the top floor of the Excelsior in Causeway Bay will offer guests a special fireworks dinner, priced at HK$1,188 per person.
The exquisite fireworks dinner includes an appetiser buffet with seafood and freshly shucked oysters, a dessert buffet and a choice of main course from the five choices below:

To celebrate the upcoming new year, Café Marco in Tsim Sha Tsui presents a festive dinner buffet with Hakka-style poon choi, a traditional village dish that is heaped with delicacies and eaten on festive dates. During the promotion period, every two dinner buffet patrons will receive a complimentary miniature poon choi, packed full of delicacies. The dinner buffet is priced at HK$488 per head and the poon choi offer is available from now until February 29.
Giving diners a fresh start to 2012 and to let them get their fill of tempting Chinese comfort food, the Dim Sum Bar at Harbour City in Tsim Sha Tsui is now offering new winter dishes. The revamped menu includes a wonderful selection of all-time-favourite Chinese recipes, such as:
