The Langham in Tsim Sha Tsui has prepared sweet treats for couples with sweet tooth to celebrate the coming Valentine's Day. From February 11 to 14, Palm Court at The Langham will showcase a traditional three-tier afternoon tea set with delicate desserts such as pink macaron with ginger-honey ganache filling, Moët & Chandon champagne jelly with berry compote, cheesecake and more. Palm Court's mixmeister has also prepared a special selection of Valentine's Day cocktails that are also sweet on the eyes. For those who want to have a pre-Valentine's Day celebration, the afternoon tea set is available on February 11 and 12 with two seating sections at 2:15 pm to 4:15 pm or 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. On February 13 and 14 the tea set will be served from 3:00 pm and is priced at HK$218 per head or HK$398 per couple.

From February 10 to February 14, chef Fabrizio at Goccia will be channelling the five emotions of love in a relationship to deliver the true taste of St. Valentine. The four-course dinner set will bring couples through "happiness", "understanding", "desire and passion" and "astonishment", featuring burrata cheese, conchiglioni pasta, beef tenderloin, deep fried oysters and passion fruit sabayon with luscious Valrhona chocolate ice cream.

Love is in the air on Valentine's Day and FINDS at The Luxe Manor in Tsim Sha Tsui has prepared a vegan-friendly menu for the lovers on top of its regular menu. The five-course vegetarian/vegan menu will be available from Feburary 10 to Feburary 14 and includes the following dishes:
- white tomato foam with marinated avocado - white and green asparagus terrine - foamy green pea soup - grilled and marinated pumpkin and parsnip - chocolate marquise with apricots, and champagne marinated strawberries

The luxurious Hokkaido horse hair crab is the most flavourful during January, thanks to the ice water flowing from Russia that feeds the crabs with micro living organisms, and help the crabs to grow with succulent oil and fat. Inakaya at ICC in West Kowloon is now showcasing this winter gem in a scrumptious four-course set menu that include:
- Japanese cucumber with crab roe paste - crab meat sashimi - steamed crab - crab hot pot - porridge or Inaniwa udon noodles
The hairy horse crab set meal is priced at HK$2,800 for two and is available until the end of January.
If your New Year's resolutions included doing something out of the ordinary, the Indian afternoon tea set at Jashan in Central could not have come at a better time. Executive chef Asif Iqbal of Jashan surprises foodies by bringing four savoury, Indian snacks to the otherwise pastries-filled three-tier tea stand, topping it off with an extra dessert. The set, catered for two, changes daily and is delicately presented with a kettle of fragrant Indian black tea, masala chai or coffee. At HK$120 per person, this Indian tea set is one of the best surprises offered in Hong Kong.
The Pawn at Wan Chai introduces a three-course lunch menu inspired by the famous detective Sherlock Holmes Mondays to Fridays. The Sherlock Holmes set lunch includes:
- Dr. Watson's kedgeree– poached smoked haddock, bacon puffed rice with soft-boiled quail egg
- Sherlock's favourite – roast sirloin of beef with cheese and beef dripping roast potatoes

Tiffin has always been known for its fabulous hotel buffets and refined treats, but now there are more reasons to visit Tiffin lounge at the Grand Hyatt hotel in Wan Chai.
