The Italian Cuisine and Wine World Summit returns to Hong Kong |
The Italian Cuisine and Wines World Summit starts today and ends on November 6 as it lands in Hong Kong for the third time. Seventeen Italian master chefs have arrived in Hong Kong to dazzle and delight local gourmands with its exciting demonstrations and exclusive dining events over the next six days.
This year's summit focuses on risottos and the art of pizza making. Open to all professional and food lovers, a special Risotto World Summit Competition will be held on November 4. Meanwhile, Spasso restaurant and guest chef, Domenico Crolla, will be hosting the Launch of Luxury Pizza event that evening to let dinners know how the humble pizza can become a meal of luxury and decadence.
Furthermore, each of the Italian master chefs will be working with one of Hong Kong's very best Italian restaurant to introduce mouth-watering Italian menus over the summit period. 208 on Hollywood Road, for example, will be hosting Umbrian chef Sauro Scarabotta who has created a rustic tasting menu with dishes such as polenta with wild boar and Umbrian country-style Delverde spaghetti.
