There is a manufactured sophistication at Rendezvous that makes you wonder if they would have been better served with a simpler decor to match the predominantly hotel guest clientele. Saying that, there is little else wrong with this comfortable little hangout, the wine list being excellent and the signature cocktails superb. In particular, do not miss the icy blended Ponte 16 made with tequila, kiwi liqueur, pineapple and mango juice, or the aptly named, triple-layered Magnifique. Rendezvous also offers the same all-day dining menu as Mistral, the hotel’s coffee shop upstairs.
