The live jazz band that play in the evenings also draws a loyal following of locals and hotel guests. Champagne Bar is everything a hotel bar should be: cosy and cheerful, with an atmosphere of relaxed ease. As its name suggests, the wine list boasts a substantial by-the-glass bubbly selection and prestige cuvées such as Salon, Cristal, Krug Clos du Mesnil. There is also a thoughtful light bites menu, which features duck liver pâté, a perfect accompaniment to the bubbles.
